Product Focus
Exim-Indis collaborates with some of the brightest minds in the life sciences industry to drive innovation in biopharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing.
Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA)
Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) is a biodegradable synthetic copolymer comprising of repeating units of lactic acid and glycolic acid. It is widely used in pharmaceutical and biomedical fields due to its excellent biocompatibility and ability to degrade into non-toxic metabolites. Unlike non-degradable polymers, PLGA undergoes controlled hydrolysis in the body, making it ideal for sustained drug delivery and resorbable medical devices.
N-Biotinyl dopamine
N-Biotinyl dopamine is a bifunctional chemical probe linking biotin to dopamine, commonly used in neuroscience and proteomics research. It acts as a redox-active tool for studying dopamine receptor localization, mobility, and interacting proteins.
Capsaicin
Capsaicin is a naturally occurring, lipophilic alkaloid and the primary pungent compound in chili peppers, acting as a potent TRPV1 receptor agonist. As a crystalline, colorless, and odorless compound, it is characterized by high heat stability, fat solubility, and the ability to cause localized sensory neuron excitation followed by desensitization (pain relief).
Anacardic acid
Anacardic acid is the primary bioactive component of cashew nutshell liquid (CNSL), acting as a potent histone acetyltransferase (HAT) inhibitor with anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and antibacterial properties. It is widely used in research for its role in cellular, anti-tumor, and neurological studies, showing minimal adverse effects.
